Katherine Heigl has opened up about being raised living in "a White bubble." She also shares how this experience has affected the way she raises adopted children who are multi-racial. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, with regards to skin color there is no difference. After speaking with her sister who is adopted by South Korea she realized just the way society views them. "I asked Meg what she thought about being treated differently when she went out with our parents and when she went out on her own. She replied "Oh, yes, every occasion!" Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." She said that she was frustrated and thought she needed to channel her anger towards helping the adopted children she has. Heigl as well as her long-time husband -- singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black and was adopted in 2009.
