Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other characters include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the television film Nightingales & the short lived NBC show of similar name, Erica Paget in Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Being a native of California she was attracted to acting since she was young. She began her career in the field of advertising, where she appeared in a variety of commercials. Her first appearance on TV was in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom show in 1984. In 1986, she made her debut on the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink. Swan, who is known for her breath-taking voice and smooth blonde hairdo, has played various roles on the side in the past several years. In 1989she was awarded an award called the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
