Elizabeth Andrea Bitsie Tulloch was born in the year 1981. She has played the roles of Eve and Juliette on the NBC series Grimm, and Lois Lane as part of The CWArrowverse series including Superman & Lois. Tulloch grew up between Spain Uruguay Argentina as well as San Diego California. Tulloch uses the name Bitsie and is not an abbreviation of her birth name Elizabeth however it is a tribute to her oddly-nicknamed grandfather a World War II bomber pilot that was also involved in the 1961 Goldsboro B52 plane crash. Tulloch was given the name Bitsie at the time she started to perform. She continued using this until 2017 when she changed to Elizabeth. To people that I meet I still identify myself by the name of Bitsie. It worked in the beginning when I started acting, when I was in my early 20s. It worked as I entered my 20s. But now that I am mid-30s I'm inclined to reprise it for billing. As I was filming it hadn't crossed my mind. The subject was Elizabeth who the director noticed while filling in legal documents. Do you like this way of billing? Then I called both my agent and manager to inquire about their thoughts. You're older. Bitsie however, on contrary is a sweet and charming name. It's adorable. It was that simple. it. Elizabeth isn't my name anymore. It's just for future billing. Tulloch originates from Scottish and Spanish descendance. Tulloch claims that her primary language was Spanish however she no longer believes she is fluent in Spanish. Her paternal grandparents hail from Renfrewshire and her grandfather's roots lie in Kirkwall in Scotland. Based on an interview she conducted to BBC News, we believe the first Tullochs came to America around the year 1880. The Kerrs followed in early 1900. After returning back to U.S. she went to the middle and high schools within Bedford New York. Tulloch received a magnacum-laude in Harvard University, with double majors in English and American Literature and visual and environmental research.
